Our Story

The original Splash About Float Jacket and Float Suit were early inventions created by the Goodwin family that founded Splash About in 2006 and are now widely used as swim aids globally. The most well known Splash About invention is of course the multi award winning Happy Nappy, which was launched twelve years ago and remains hugely successful both in the UK and across the world. It is still recognized as the only nappy design to help protect against faecal nappy leaks in pools. 

Our products are the most widely used baby swim products in the UK with a growing customer base globally. Our Happy Nappy system is now insisted upon by over 90% of swim schools in the UK. Tens of thousands of babies wear a Splash About product to swim every week!. We are very proud of our ground-breaking products and our Splash lab continues to work hard with our colleagues in the swimming industry, including the ASA, the STA and business owners to ensure babies and toddlers can swim in comfort and safety.

But at Splash About it doesn’t stop at the pool or even poolside. Our in house design teams have developed an extensive range of sun protection and warm water products so that babies and children have the greatest and safest access to sun and sea. Our neoprene based wear is designed for ease of use and comfort in chilly water, whether that is on a beach or in a pool; meaning babies and toddlers can stay and learn, or simply play for longer. Our specialist UV sun wear, ensures complete sun protection when and where you need it most even at Midday!

Our Splash About team of in-house specialists, working with the Health Education Authority and leading industry specialists all over the world, continue to design and create new outstanding products. All of these are then tested in extreme conditions, to ensure our factories produce the best quality products for our customers.
